Blade Runner’s original score to be performed live in its entirety by a 14 piece synth ensemble in Dublin
Among the most iconic soundtracks of all time, the original Blade Runner’s score is a stirring example of the experimental synth music being crafted during the 80s.
While the film itself is critically lauded as one of the finest examples of picture ever put to screen, Greek composer Vangelis’ score has amassed a cult following of its own.
Now, fans will get a chance to hear the entire score played in realtime to the movie live.
The Avex Ensemble, a 14 piece synth lead group, will be performing alongside the movie in Dublin’s Bord Gais Energy Theatre on March 29th 2020.
Tickets, no word on price just yet, will go on sale this Friday from the Ticketmaster site.
