Borderline Festival: day-by-day breakdown and stage times for this weekend

Borderline Festival kicks off in the Workman’s Club tonight, with 30 Irish and international acts playing across multiple stages over two days.

Artists including Ebbb, Personal Trainer, Freak Slug, Theatre, Adore, Mandy, Indiana, and plenty of others will take to the stage on Friday and Saturday.

With the festival kicking off tonight, here are the stage times for Friday and Saturday:

Alongside the 30 acts playing over two days this weekend, Borderline has also announced two-panel discussions on Saturday in The Vintage Room, offering insights into the music industry.

Belfast – There’s Something in the Water

This discussion will explore Belfast’s thriving independent music scene through the eyes of three homegrown artists and managers.

Panelists Joe McVeigh (Enola Gay), Dillon O’Brien (Makeshift Art Bar), and Neil Kerr (Mount Palomar), will delve into the challenges and rewards of being DIY musicians in today’s industry, sharing their personal experiences and insights. Moderated by James Byrne (Any Other City).

Freak Slug and Aoife Nessa Frances in Conversation with James Byrne moderating

A special discussion between two acclaimed artists, Freak Slug and Aoife Nessa Francis, as they open up about their songwriting processes, life on the road, and their recent collaboration with Anderson .Paak.

This conversation promises to be an insightful and inspiring look into the creative journeys of these two musicians.

The sold-out Borderline Festival will take place on Friday, February 21, and Saturday, February 22, at The Workman’s Club in Dublin.

The showcase festival is taking place in association with Jameson, The Workman’s Club, IMRO, Blackstar Amplification, and Musicmaker.
