Brian Deady returns with the moving ‘Say When’
Cork singer Brian Deady has released his first song since 2015’s album Non-Fiction.
‘Say When’ is a moving song of soul and gospel-leaning proportions about losing someone.
Of the artwork, Deady says his mother is the inspiration:
The artwork is an image of my mother Lucy’s baking tray which she’s worked hard on for most of her life and still uses to this day. Each line in it has history attached to it which I find fascinating. Baking and cooking has always been her way of sharing – her art form and I thought having it as the cover to my art was a nice way to honour that.
