CMAT teases album release next week with new song ‘Every Bottle Is My Boyfriend’

With the release of CMAT’s debut album If My Wife New I’d Be Dead just a week away on March 4th, today we’re hearing the album’s eighth song on the tracklist.

‘Every Bottle Is My Boyfriend’ follows on from ‘Lonely’,  ‘I Don’t Really Care For You’, ‘2 Wrecked 2 Care’ and ‘I Wanna Be A Cowboy, Baby!’, and ‘No More Virgos’.

“This is a song about being defiantly chaotic, because being that, an agent of chaos, is something quite defiant for a girl to do. It almost didn’t make the album. But then I managed to shoehorn in a line about the GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) and I felt happy it was representative of my drinking habits.

CMAT has announced a live stream show on March 6th with Moment House to mark the album’s release with solo in-stores across Ireland and London including Rough Trade, Lucky’s in Dublin and Steamboat, Limerick, with tour dates looking like this:
