Primavera Sound has expanded to Los Angeles and Porto long before that but the Spanish festival enterprise is making up for lost time this year with double weekends and next year with Madrid adding to their festival calendar along with the home of the festival in Barcelona.
The 2023 festival will also happen across two weekends in 2023 – just in two different cities -Parc del Fòrum, Barcelona from the 1st to the 3rd of June and in Madrid from the 8th to the 10th the following week, at the Ciudad de Rock of Arganda del Rey.
The festival has previously presented tours in Madrid and their autumn festival Primavera Club both in Barcelona and Madrid.
In the meantime, attendees of 2022’s editions are still reading the poster there’s so many bands on it.
Primavera recently added PinkPantheress, Wet Leg, Low, Grimes DJ set, Bleachers, Amyl and the Sniffers while Napalm Death, beabadoobee, La Mafia del Amor, Kano and Fatima Yamaha are no longer playing.
