Just Mustard announce new album Heart Under with single ‘Still’

Avatar

Dundalk five-piece rock band Just Mustard today announced their second album Heart Under is to be released on May 27th on Partisan Records.

The album was recorded at Attica Studios in Donegal, with additional recording and post-production then completed at home in Dundalk. It was mixed by David Wrench.

Having previously shared the album and single ‘I Am You’ and tour dates , today they’ve shared a new song ‘Still’ and rescheduled gigs too, along with Fontaines D.C. tour dates in Europe and North America.

The video for ‘Still’ a song that encapsulates the band’s foreboding industry rock sound pretty well, is directed by Balan Evans.

‘Still’ is one of the earliest songs we worked on for the album and has gone through several formations. We wanted to write a song that people can dance to. Instrumentally and lyrically it surrenders itself to other emotions expressed on the album, playing with repetition, tension and release.”

Katie Ball, Just Mustard.

The title, Heart Under, comes from the lyric “the heart under its foot” from album track ‘Sore.’

“There was sadness and sorrow in the album, and it felt like being underwater and under something very heavy. We let that influence the music, but it wasn’t a decision – it just naturally happened that way.”

The album is on pre-order now with a Dinked Edition for UK.
