Japan’s legendary hip hop DJ, DJ Krush is playing The Sugar Club on 24th January thanks to Choice Cuts. He will be promoting a new DVD so expect an all-visuals show I’d imagine. Tickets are €20. 2004’s Jaku is my favourite of his albums but if you’re looking for a place to start, last year’s compilation Stepping Stones – The Self Remixed Best is a good overview of the diversity of music he makes.

I have a cousin here in the USA who moved out of Greater Los Angeles to get his kids rid of the African-American influence, so pervasive here in L.A.
Wherever you go, the impact of African-American looks or music is present. The Japanese entertainer could pass for a black one anytime.
I find it all extremely fascinating.
wtf ^
i agree with everyone above, this is gonna be class.
9, could you get guestlist for tina? Her words are very inspiring
yeah dude. and it’s not just greater los angeles. stoneybatter, rialto, drumcondra, goatstown. I could go on….
with all due respect, “Milight” was kinda grim at the time it was released and a little boring. but japan is funny that way.
where can one get tickets for this?
likely Ticketmaster.ie
