Dublin Vinyl’s new announce direct to fan vinyl-pressing service will ship releases to the customer too
Ireland’s newest record pressing plant Dublin Vinyl has had a successful first year or so in operation. As well as providing local artists with local 12″ vinyl pressings, the company is also offering a subscription service to fans featuring exclusive tracks from Irish acts as well as repressed archive releases.
Now, Dublin Vinyl it is to further serve the music community with the announcement of a Direct to Fan service for Independent Labels & Artists which will offer a complete solution for pressing and shipping of a label or artist’s record.
The service accepts orders directly from the artist or label’s e-commerce site and ships them directly to the fan and uses fulfilment centres based in Dublin & Belfast which enables it to ship directly into the UK and across Europe at very competitive rates. The service is compatible with a majority of e-commerce platforms including Bandcamp, Shopify, Woocommerce and Big Cartel.
“Getting your album pressed is one thing, but the distribution and fulfilment of orders is a huge amount of work and can be extremely costly,” ” says Dublin Vinyl Managing Director, Hugh Scully. Our new service enables artists and labels to focus on the music and marketing, while we look after everything else.”
“We manufacture, warehouse, pick ‘n’ pack and ship directly to our clients’ customers, reducing costs, lead times and increasing their margins,” says Donagh Molloy, Director, Client Services.
Dublin Vinyl’s new D2C service is now available and the company is offering free warehousing for up to 6-months with all new vinyl pressing orders. Contact Donagh Molloy on [email protected].
