Perfect for parties then..
Danger Mouse put together a 170-song summer playlist for NY Mag’s Vulture blog.Nearly everyone you can think of is represented: Love, Stevie Wonder, Pavement, Neil Young, Mamas and Papas, Scott Walker, Super Furries, A Tribe Called Quest and lots, lots more.
I’ve created a Youtube playlist version of 147 of these songs.
Direct link on Youtube as sometimes the embed only shows 47 songs.
They are available on iTunes in the US from here or if you’ve Spotify, here.
Meanwhile, Dark Night of the Soul gets a proper CD release this month. Here’s my favourite tune from it – ‘Just War’ featuring Gruff Rhys.

Epic is an understatement.

Working hard here on accumulating the mp3s….
Want to join forces?
too bad, cant get spotify or itunes in berlin, the youtube-playlist is killing me, i need the mp3s… any ideas welcome!
If anybody wants to divide up the labor on mp3-hunting for this mix, let me know [email protected]
is it wrong to want to throw a party solely due to this playlist?
