Fontaines D.C. release new version of Skinty Fia featuring Orbital remix, Whipping Boy cover & album session takes

UK electronic legends Orbital have remixes the opening track from Fontaines D.C.’s recent album Skinty Fia.

The Hartnoll brothers have give the song a breakbeat-infused rework with sub bass and ravey synths to the fore alongside Grian Chatten’s vocal.

The Fontaines have also released a new version of Skinty Fia out today called Skinty Fia Go Deo, which translates to ‘Skinty Fia Forever’.

The name memorialises a moment in time for us and brings together live sessions, covers and reworks from the Skinty Fia era.

It features a cover of Whipping Boy’s ‘Twinkle’, an Orbital remix of the opening track, and versions from the original sessions.
