For The Culture, Ireland’s first Black Irish music festival announces acts to play Fairyhouse Racecourse
For The Culture is Ireland’s first black Irish music festival featuring artists of black and mixed-race based in Ireland.
The festival, founded by Black And Irish takes place at Fairyhouse Racecourse, on May 28th 2022, and the first wave of acts announced are:
- Hare Squead
- Sello
- Aby Coulibaly
- Tebi Rex
- Erica Cody
- Plantain Papi
- Alicia Raye
- Andre Fazaz
- DJ GEO
- DJ SAZ
- DJ Dacosta
- DJ Safarii
More acts will be announced.
The festival focuses on representation in the community but is open for all to attend, and is aiming to spotlight artists, entrepreneurs and black-owned businesses around the country.
Tickets go on sale this Thursday February 3rd at 9am from Eventbrite.ie.
