Get Down Edits are long standing Waterford DJs Daz and Martin, who are known for their disco sets and their love of classic funk and soul.
As prolific DJs, the pair have delved into the practice of making disco edits, they have three volumes of them already available and coveted already.
For their latest release, Family, GDE collected reworks from themselves and other producers including Conor Rogan, Smart Edit, Ed Wizard and Disco Double Dee, Shit Hot Soundsystem and more.
Highlights of the pack for me are GDE’s own ‘Do What You Wanna?’, Smart Edit’s ‘All This Love’ and Bass Fly and Laurent’s ‘You’ in particular.
