Somadrone’s Potion Of Oblivion night of outlier electronic music happens on Saturday December 13th in Pacino’s with Donal Dineen and Sunken Foal.
Bleecker Street Cafe Bar up Dorset Street way is hosting A4’s Seasonal Shindig with Patrick Kelleher, Big Monster Love and more, the same night.
The Emigrant Disco is a pre-Christmas bash featuring a load of locals we lost to pastures foreign recently. Taking place in the Sugar Club and put on by Shock World Service and The Locals, there will be live music from Dimman (Matthew Bolger & Richard Egan), White Collar Boy, Shocko and DJ sets from Louis Scully (Telephones/Discotekken), Jon Averill (Shock World Service), Joma (Telephones/The Locals) and more. Tickets are €7/10 right now but will be €12 on the door.
State’s Midnight Mass is back for our sins on the 23rd of December in aid of Marriage Equality. Nanu Nanu, Planet Parade, Slow Skies, Aoife Underwater and guests are expected in The Mercantile that night. Free but donations very welcome, nay encouraged.
Gorgon City are playing The Academy on February 4th. Tickets are €19.90 plus fee on sale tomorrow from Ticketmaster.
The Handsome Family play Whelan’s on Friday March 27th. Tickets are €23 plus fees on sale tomorrow from Ticketmaster and Whelan’s.
Oh, and as you heard, Foo Fighters are playing Slane next year. Support is from Kaiser Chiefs and Hozier and it happens on Saturday May 30th. Tickets €79.50 plus fee on sale Monday from Ticketmaster at 9am sucka.
