Gig news update: Tune-Yards, Ben Howard, Tweedy & Daniel Lanois
tUnE-yArDs is playing Vicar Street on Tuesday March 3rd. Nice. Tickets are €22 plus fee from Ticketmaster on sale Thursday morning at 9am.
Having topped the UK album charts with I Forget Where We Were (Hozier is still number 1 here), Ben Howard will play the 3Arena on Tuesday April 14th next year. Standing tickets: €39.05 plus fee / Seated tickets €44.05 plus fee on sale Friday 9am from Ticketmaster.
Also playing Vicar Street is Tweedy, also courtesy of Aiken, on Wednesday January 28th. The Wilco singer/songwriter is joined by his 18 year old son Spencer on drums. Son and dad on tour in Europe! Tickets €40.55 plus fees also on sale Thursday at 9am from Ticketmaster.ie.
Finally this morning, another Aiken Vicar Street gig in the form of Daniel Lanois, the producer and composer, who plays the venue Thursday April 16 next year. Tickets on sale Monday November 3rd at 9am costing €44.05 plus fee from Ticketmaster.
Lanois has a new album called Flesh and Machine, out now on Anti.
