SFA’s Gruff Rhys returns to his solo material this month. Firstly with a new song ‘Shark Ridden Waters’ which is from Rhys’ upcoming third album due in February. The song will be released on 12″ on November 5th, was produced by Andy Votel and is shimmeringly lovely.

Even better Gruff will be be playing a number of UK and Europe dates next month including a three Irish dates: Sat 13th Nov @ Town Hall Theatre, Galway , Sun 14th Nov @ The Empire, Belfast, Mon 15th Nov @ The Sugar Club, Dublin. Full details after the jump. Also watch out for a screening of Separado! at Darklight and a Q&A with Gruff about his South American movie adventure to find his long lost Patagonian uncle. That takes place in the IFI in association with Synth Eastwood on 30th of October.
