Hardware returns this weekend with four hours of ‘improvised innovation’
Limerick’s electronic collective Hardware is back to deliver four hours of “improvised innovation” at Belltable this weekend.
Building on the momentum of their sold-out events and a recent showcase with Berlin’s iconic Tresor club, Limerick-based collective Hardware is back with the highly anticipated third installment of their trailblazing concept club series.
Set to take place on December 14th at Belltable Theatre, this immersive evening promises a bold blend of live electronic music, visual arts, and community-driven creativity.
This edition features a four-hour improvised performance by acclaimed local electronic artists Brawni, Chaz Moloney, Fran Hartnett, and Optmst, with a specially curated ambient lounge by Róis offering attendees a tranquil space to unwind amidst the sonic energy.
As a hallmark of the Hardware ethos, the night revolves around improvisation and hardware instruments—modular synthesizers, drum machines, and more—delivering a unique, never-to-be-repeated experience.
The collective’s innovative approach transforms the audience into part of the creative process, breaking down traditional barriers between artist and listener.
Expanding beyond music, this edition will feature visual arts from X Plus X Collective, showcasing their “Cyber Jungle” series in the Belltable café.
These pieces will be displayed in the cafe, providing attendees with a visual experience to complement the music. Róis will curate a specially designed Ambient Lounge, offering a relaxing space for attendees to unwind during the event.
Our mission is to redefine the clubbing experience by creating something truly interactive, where the audience’s energy shapes the night There’s a deeply spiritual element to the creative process, and we aim to invite everyone into that magic, making them feel not just welcomed but essential to the experience – Brawni, co-founder of Hardware
With past events featuring workshops by Berlin’s Tresor resident Kerrie and performances by luminaries like R.Kitt, Paddy Mulcahy and Rustal, Hardware continues to raise the bar for Irelands’s nightlife. Their upcoming workshops in 2025 aim to further empower the local music community, providing invaluable hands-on opportunities for emerging artists.
For fans of cutting-edge music, stunning visuals, and a vibrant creative atmosphere, this December event is a must-attend. Whether you’re an electronic music veteran or a curious newcomer, Hardware invites you to witness the magic of improvised performance and collaborative artistry.
Hardware takes place on Saturday, December 14t at 7pm at the Belltable in Limerick. Tickets can be found here.
