Hear a new Irish band cover The Human League for Record Store Gay 4

Record Store Gay, the annual celebration of music and diversity is back for a fourth year tie-in with Record Store Day this Saturday. The event in Outhouse happens from 1pm til 6pm and will feature performances from many of the bands below before the show moves to Pantibar from 6:30pm. All funds raised will go towards the Yes Equality campaign for the Marriage Referendum on May 22nd (get sorted to vote!)

Colour Canyon are a new act consisting of Michelle and Harry of little xs for eyes (who released their fine new album this week) and they have contributed a cover of The Human League’s ‘Open Your Heart’ to the compilation.

Other bands contributing are listed below and there are covers of Miley Cyrus, Miami Sound Machine, Arthur Russell, Imagination, Madness, Technotronic, Regina Spektor, Annie Lennox, Madonna and The Magnetic Fields. Here’s the tracklist:
