This 4-piece from New York grabbed my attention this week when their indie/electro-pop tunes burst out of the speakers spreading good-time vibes everywhere. Comparisons to CSS are inevitable and justified as singer Cait shares the same deadpan singing/talking style to Lovefoxxx as well as the same “fuck this, let’s dance!” sensibilities.
Previous singles “Born of a Star” and “Big Guns” released on Adventures Close to Home show a lot of promise as does the November 26th release of “Cool Town Rock” for which the video is below. Luckily for us, they are currently supporting Bonde do Role on their European tour so if you’re heading down to the Button Factory on the 24th, make sure you check them out. I have a feeling they could be huge.
