Holy Other’s label Tri-Angle released the With U EP last week and as a result, we’ve got a few remixes floating about. Most notable for me, is this Supreme Cuts remix.
Supreme Cuts are a young duo from Chicago with two tunes on their Soundcloud ‘Amnesia’ and ‘Issues’. Their music is in the realm of experimental post-dub, vocal twisting R&B and electronics and you can hear both tracks below. As for their remix, they turn the already bombastic ‘Touch’ and extrapolate the weird vocals, the bass and hi-hats into a somehow weirder and more diverting version.
As for Holy Other, there are other remixes of the EP’s standout ‘Touch’ available via Peefork from MatthewDavid*, Blood Diamonds and Cupp Cave.
