Honeypot and Slaughterhouse are linking up for a special party at The Complex this June.

Pairing a screening of cult 2009 horror film Jennifer’s Body with DJ sets from Roo Honeychild (Club Comfort) and Honeypot founder Rhyzine, the event takes place on Thursday June 22th at The Complex warehouse space.

The event is an evening of cult horror and music in aid of Trans Harm Reduction to kick off Dublin Pride weekend.

Slaughterhouse Film Club are known for their curated cult film screenings around the city, most recently Shampain’s Nosferatu live score event. While Honeypot are Dublin electronic club night and community for gay girls and friends.

Why Jennifer’s Body? Well, a movement of anointing the film a cult classic since its release, and has been the sibject of some thinkpiece re-evaluations, and has been copperfastened as it has been adopted by the queer community.
