There’s been a renaissance of late in the quality of Soulwax’s remix work perhaps buoyed by their involvement in the club night of the year – Despacio. Most recently, their Tame Impala and Jungle remixes have perfectly pitched a familiar tune to a new club context that makes rooms go off.
And now, we have a hat-track. Hot Chip’s ‘Huarache Lights’ was already a bit of a banger. Soulwax here, stretch out the tune with spaciousness and add an increased dynamic shift to the track that’s bound to get lots of speaker time at club nights.
