Index has announced that it kicks off its new club programme in early September at their new home of 13-14, Liberty Lane, Dublin 2.
Index was formerly in the Voodoo Lounge space on the Quays which is now fully taken by the Here & Now brand.
Index’s opening parties in the new space, which was formerly Opium Rooms, take place on September 8th and 9th with House legend Armand Van Helden headlining the opening party on Friday September 8th Irish Techno DJ Tommy Holohan joins forces with Steel City Dance Discs’ X-Coast for the first Saturday on the 9th September.
The venue’s early gigs will continue as Opium Live with Index taking the space after 11pm.
Index comes from the team behind District 8, Life Festival and the D8 In The Gardens shows happening in Palmerstown House at the moment.
The new Index club is promising to arrive with “a series of upgrades, renovations and improvements in sound, light & overall production, including increased capacity.”
Opening Party sign up is now open at the Index website – indexdublin.com and tickets go on sale for the Opening Friday this Thursday.
