Intro: Sisters – Limerick London-based noise-pop band
Sisters are a new alt-rock band consisting of Andrew (drums), Aoife (bass/vocals) and Niall (guitar/vocals) from Limerick now based in London who have been working with Irish and London-based producer and recording engineer Alalal, Al O’Connor, who has worked with Mark Ronson, Paul Epworth, and Bruno Mars. They’ve been together since July 2012 and have just toured with Big Deal.
Sisters are very much a guitar band, they have a sound that draws from 80s and 90s alt-rock/noise-pop. ‘Hush Hush’ is the best of what they have to offer right now and it shows off a mix of those aforementioned eras with girl/boy harmonies. Prototypal young gun-slinging alt-pop. It’s released as a single on Just Pop on December 2nd.
