Recently signed to JagJaguar, Peter Wolf Crier are one of the bands that got away from me at SXSW. The label will be releasing their debut Inter-Be on May 25th in the US.
They are Peter Pisano and Brian Moen from Minneapolis (What’s going on with the Midwest of North America these days – Gayngs, Solid Gold, Bon Iver?) The songs on the Inter-Be came together after an eight-month long creative dry spell on Pisano’s side. After the creativity dam bust, he hooked up with Moen and made the album. For fans of: The Dodos, Annuals, M. Ward and Conor Oberst. Here are two introductory songs.

Nice one – found them via Jim Carroll’s reports during SXSW and have been loving the album. You know the back-story here re Bon Iver?
What’s that then?
One of them has collaborated with him right?
Hi Niall
Lots of collaborations. Comment number 4 at http://www.irishtimes.com/blogs/ontherecord/2010/03/22/sxsw-2010-the-end-of-the-line/ has the full details
