Another Love Story’s travelling festival series Love Is A Stranger returns to Ballyvolane House in East Cork on Friday July 17th and Saturday July 18th 2026.
The second Cork edition of LIAS follows a sold-out first run at Ballyvolane last year. The format is the same – primarily a Saturday day and night event, with a limited Friday early access and welcome concert, and a Sunday early afternoon wind-down with closing performances. The setting is Ballyvolane House, a historic house with spectacular grounds, boutique accommodation, and the particular intimate atmosphere that only ALS seem to produce.
Programme contributions come from The Ambient Orbit (RTÉ Lyric FM), The Baltimore Fiddle Fair, and a special dining and cocktail experience from Cork’s Cold Cuts.
Friday July 17th – Opening Concert
Donal Dineen’s Backstory and Senior Infants open the weekend on Friday evening. Gates from 7pm.

The Baltimore Fiddle Fair present: Caoilte Ó Cuanigh. John Spillane and the Band of Wrens close on Sunday.
