The Lumo Club DJ Chart

Lumo, our club night is just over a year old now and it’s been a superb experience. Every month, some of the nicest people in Dublin turn up to dance and have a damn good time. It’s genuinely gone better than we could have hoped and feel like there’s a community developing around the night.

If you don’t know:

Lumo is a club for dancing to tunes of all-sorts. We play electronic, disco, pop, hip-hop, Italo and a bit of whatever we’re into in-between. Expect everything from Arthur Russell to Abba, LCD Soundsystem to La Bionda, Phil Collins to Caribou, Grimes to Giorgio Moroder, Kate Bush to Kraftwerk, Beastie Boys to Bruce Springsteen, Four Tet to Fleetwood Mac, Robyn to Ryan Paris, Steely Dan to Soulwax, ZZ Top to Zapp & Roger.

Every month, our three Lumo DJs Niall, Simon and Gav chalk up five tunes each that are top of our list to play at the club and here are this month’s selections in a Spotify playlist.

The next Lumo takes place this Saturday at Yamamori Tengu from 10pm til late.

For November: we are donating profits from pre-sales to Irish Cancer Society and Pieta House, so we’d appreciate it muchly if you’d support these charities by buying a ticket in advance from Eventbrite.
