Thanks to Gambra on Thumped for directing me to this apparently very limited split CD from the Mogwai/Fuck Buttons tour. Mogwai tackle ‘Colours Move’ while Fuck Buttons re-interpret ‘Mogwai Fear Satan’.
Fuck Buttons’ album has grown on me exponentially while Mogwai’s new one The Hawk is Howling is another solid follow-on from Mr. Beast. More on that later. How about a thought for an attempt at the best song title ever, included here for posterity, from the Batcat EP entitled ‘Stupid Prick Gets Chased by the Police and Loses His Slut Girlfriend’. Yessss.
