Music Generation seeking musicians to create and lead new work for children and young people
Music Generation is Ireland’s National Music Education Programme that gives children and young people access to high-quality, subsidised performance music education. Initiated by Music Network, Music Generation is co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, the Department of Education and Local Music Education Partnerships.
The organisation is now inviting professional musicians and artists to tender for a role to not only lead and develop a Community of Practice with musicians but to also create and lead new work for children and young people:
Invitation to Tender for Individual and/or Groups of Professional Musicians to:
(a) lead and develop distinct Communities of Practice with musicians that deliver Music Generation programmes;
and
(b) lead, develop and create new work for children and young people with musicians involved in Music Generation Communities of Practice.
The Request for Tenders for this contract for services is now live on eTenders.
Response deadline is 5pm, Friday 30 April 2021.
