Apartment Records has announced its first all-Irish 12″ vinyl release in five years is also a New Jackson release.
The analogue electronic project of David Kitt, New Jackson most recently released ‘Holding On’ / ‘Reach For Me’ last year featuring Mr Silla, and returns to Apartment after previously remixing Tr One and being a member of Bande Apartment, which gave us – in my estimation – a modern Irish dancefloor classic, the disco edit ‘Lubricating Rita’.
The new release is the Sanyo Shinkansen EP, which features the title track of lo-f synths and feedback, along with ‘Green Spot Boogie’ and remixes by ELLLL and Lumigraph (who also collaborates with New Jackson on the Garies project).
Listen to the title track, and pre-order on Bandcamp ahead of release on March 7th, and snippets below.
