New Year’s Festival Dublin have announced the live acts playing across three days in Dublin City from 30th December 2024 through to 1st January 2025.
The Fáilte Ireland developed-festival in association with the Office of Public Works, takes place in Dublin Castle, Meeting House Square and more and features the NYE Countdown concert, New Year’s Day music, Echoes of Ireland Concerts, street procession, fireworks, a music trail and more.
Here’s some of what’s happening:
On 30th December:
Echoes of Ireland @ Dublin Castle
5 concerts showcasing the best of Ireland including Cormac Begley, The West Kerry Dancers & Stephanie Keane, Róisín O, Ispiní na hÉireann, Niamh Regan and Stomptown Brass Band. (3.30pm – 9pm, Free, Family-Friendly Events)
December 31st
New Year’s Eve Countdown Concert Matinee @ Dublin Castle
It will feature live performances from recent Coldplay support Aby Coulibaly, Cork viral sensations Kabin Crew & Lisdoonvarna Crew and singer songwriter Saibh Skelly. (4pm – 6pm with family midnight moment countdown at 6pm).

New Year’s Eve night @ Dublin Castle
It will feature live performances from Cork singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot, recent Coldplay support Aby Coulibaly, Cork viral sensations Kabin Crew & Lisdoonvarna Crew and singer songwriter Saibh Skelly. Evening show. On sale already.
January 1st
New Year’s Day Concerts @ Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square.
Live performances from Hothouse Flowers, Emma Langford, The Bonny Men and Attention Bébé. (1pm – 5pm, Free family friendly event, non-ticketed event). Enjoy some of Ireland’s best traditional and folk musicians in Meeting House Square with performances from John Francis Flynn, Saileog Ní Cheannabháin, Kevin Fowley and Paahto and The Bull. and more. (2pm – 6pm – Free, family friendly event).
