Nialler9 Weekly Chart
Remember those times when you picked up a music magazine or a weekly music paper and read a playlist of what that publication’s writers were playing in the office that week? Here is my nod to that staple. No great fanfare, just ten of the best song around right now I’ve been playing lots of.
This week: That Boy-8-Bit remix refuses to leave my ears alone, new cuts from albums you should buy from Sleeping States and Yacht. A great Jay-Z album track from the disappointing The Blueprint 3, some more recent remixes and a new short but sweet almost Massive Attack-esque track from Various.
- Florence and the Machine – Drumming Song (Boy 8-Bit remix)
- Yacht – The Afterlife – See Mystery Lights
- Jay-Z – On to the Next One – The Blueprint 3
- Sleeping States – Gardens of the South – In The Gardens of the North
- Django Django – Storm – Buy 7 inch from Rough Trade
- Jamie T – Chaka Demus (BEN BONES remix not Toddla T) – Kings and Queens
- Au Revoir Simone – Another Likely Story (Neon Indian remix)
- Lisa Mitchell – Coin Laundry (Starsmith remix)
- Bibio – All the Flowers (Seams remix) – Seams
- Various Production – Go Back
