Outsider YP (Young Phantom) releases Hong Kong-set video for ‘Saddest Day’
The Cork hip-hop artist formerly known as Young Phantom, now Outsider YP has released his new track ‘Saddest Day’ accompanied by a video shot in Hong Kong featuring fashion designer and aspiring model Sai Wing. The video was directed by 3JBK, a team of videographers and video producers based in Hong Kong.
That city’s otherworldliness is a good fit for ‘Saddest Day’, a languorous beat production with electronic shade to match Outsider YP’s vocals.
Outsider Yp has an album Alone // Insane // Alive is planned for release on April 30th.
Catch Outsider YP at Word Up Collective #14 at Bello Bar on April 13th which also features Backshed Inc, Anti-One, Felispeaks, Lewis Kenny and Dagogo.
An unorthodox special listening party will take place in the Glucksman Art Gallery in Cork on April 29th, which will “includes various models and actors draped in Yeezy-esque get up and Redfm’s Stevie G playing some ambient music before the event begins”.
