Podcast #4 – June 07

Podcast June

Wow, last month’s podcast holds the top spot with nearly double the amount of downloads/listens (Roughly 1200) than the previous two months! So we’re psyched to be bringing you another cool collection with tracks from MIA, YACHT, Thinguma*jigsaw, UNKLE, Chequerboard, Pharoahe Monch, Jaylib, Islands and a few more gems including a Go! Team mashup and some music from Mali interpersed with rants about the weather – how Irish.

The podcast is presented by our radio presenter in chief – Aoife Mc and she kindly let us share a track from last week’s Indie Hour radio show from NC Lawlor, who you may know as the busker on Grafton St. You can get the whole sesh at the Indie Hour Podcast HQ.

You can subscribe to the Podcast RSS via iTunes or your favourite podcast software by copying this link into the relevant program. Enjoy!

  1. the lower deck on saturday night was my first experience of thinguma*jigsaw-they played right beside the bar, unamplified and opened with a cover of ‘walking the cow’ by daniel johnston.they could’ve been playing anything and the amount of feeling and immersion in their sound would have been exactly the same.it was the first time i’ve been at a gig in dublin where people shut the fuck up for the entire duration of a set.something very special indeed.
looking forward to downlanding this sucker when i get in.
