Radiohead take over Zane Lowe on Radio One
Yes another Radiohead story to add to the pile. At least, this one is actually about the music (though not their own). Yesterday, Thom and Ed (with Jonny on the phone) took over Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio One show and played loads of great tunes including a current favourite of mine – The Bug & Warrior Queen’s “Poison Dart South Rakkas remix” (which is dropping on our January podcast – here on Monday!) as well as tracks from MIA, Modeselektor, Os Mutantes, Burial, the fantastic Analord’s “Crying in your Face”, Holy Fuck, Grizzly Bear, Konono no.1 and yes, Asian Dub Foundation. Right up this blog’s street then!
