Dublin trio’s debut album Affirmations is out Friday August 7th.
Dublin trio Really Good Time have shared their new single ‘The Love Song’ and confirmed a run of Irish instore dates alongside full UK and EU tours, ahead of their debut album Affirmations, due Friday August 7th.
Listen to ‘The Love Song’ here.
Opening with an air raid siren, ‘The Love Song’ is a distinctly RGT take on romance, sung by bassist Jacque Le Coque, which features a dreamy one-two switch up with the band’s more raucous established sound.
The band explained the track’s origins: “This is our love song titled ‘The Love Song’. A song that says: the world is falling apart in increasingly confusing and horrible ways, but your love fills me the confidence to face it.”

Bassist Jacque Le Coque added on taking the mic for the first time: “This is a song about love, motha fuckka.”
This year has seen Really Good Time play two packed out sets at The Great Escape, and share stages with Gurriers, with further support dates with Super Furry Animals.
Their last single ‘Do It’ has also been used daily on RTÉ’s World Cup coverage.
