‘Awake Me’ from the Donegal singer-songwriter Rosie Carney bravely addresses the fog of depression and anorexia that she felt for much of her life.
This new solo piano and voice version from Carney strips back the instrumentation but still leaves the weight of the sentiment very much in the air. Stunning.
Rosie performs at Nialler9 and Homebeat’s Future Proof#2 on Wednesday April 19th in association with O’Haras along with Shookrah and Laoise.
