When was the last time you listened to Röyksopp? The Norwegian dance duo were huge in 2006 when their debut Melody AM came out and they made a couple of reasonable records since then in 2008’s The Understanding (always have a soft spot for ‘Only This Moment’, 2009’s Junior I don’t think I’ve listened to 2010’s Senior.
Anyway, the Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland are back with a new song ‘Running To The Sea’ with vocals from Susanne Sundfør, their first single since 2011. It was a number 1 in Norway earlier this year so it’s getting a proper release on December 16th. As part of that campaign, there’s a Villa remix of the track which is more up my street thanks to its disco stylings.
