Seafret – ‘Give Me Something’

Coming on like a male-fronted cover version of Daughter, ‘Give Me Something’ is a gentle folk song from the Yorkshire duo Seafret. It swells into its chorus from finger-picked guitar and subtle threadbare instrumentation, with the singer Jack Sedman (joined by Harry Draper on guitar) pining for a way forward.

It’s the lead track from an EP to be released in September.
