About Seefeel:
Formed in the early ‘90s, Seefeel became one of the most innovative and genre-defying acts of their time, blending elements of shoegaze, ambient, IDM, dub, and experimental music. Signed to the iconic Warp label in 1994, Seefeel quickly made their mark with their groundbreaking debut Quique.. Their second album, Succour (1995), continued this experimental evolution, delving into more rhythmic, industrial textures, while their 1996 mini-album Ch-Vox on Rephlex further explored new sonic territories. Throughout the years, the band developed deep creative partnerships, including a close collaboration with the Cocteau Twins, who invited Seefeel to tour with them and work in their studio. After a long hiatus in 1997, Seefeel returned in 2011 with a self-titled album, followed by a retrospective anthology of their early work in 2021, further cementing their legacy.
Everything Squared, their first new music since 2011, marks a fresh chapter for the band. This 6-track mini-album offers a contemporary evolution of their signature sound, blending ambient, dub, and electronic textures. Primarily composed by founding members Mark Clifford and Sarah Peacock, with bass contributions from Shigeru Ishihara, Everything Squared pushes their sound into new, exciting directions. The album was mastered by Stefan Betke (Pole) and features artwork by the iconic Designers Republic.
