SoFFT Nights – the socially distant small outdoor series has announced dates with Pillow Queens, Soda Blonde, Maija Sofia, Cormac Begley & more

Last year, the socially-distant tented outdoor mini-festival series SoFFT Nights filled the gap where there were no gigs with small audiences attending shows from Paul Noonan, CMAT and Junior Brother among others at Dunderry Park, Co. Meath, the home of the Spirit of Folk Festival.

After cancelling their gigs in March and April due to restrictions, the organisers have announced new dates for the coming months:

Taking place across weekends in July, August and September 2021:

16th & 17th July

  • Cormac Begley
  • Bunscionn
  • Lemoncello

27th & 28th August

  • Soda Blonde
  • Maija Sofia
  • Nava

3rd & 4th September

Dermot Kennedy

  • Pillow Queens
  • Roe
  • Art of Algebra
  • Dani Larkin

Wellbeing incentives such as meditation, shamanic drumming, healing through dance and talks will be showcased across the festival.

“People coming out of lockdown are curious. We have had lots of time for self reflection but not much of a chance to do it in a community or supportive environment. We’re also really missing communal experiences. As well as the concerts, Sofft Nights Summer 2021 day festivals will be hosting all sorts of interesting events from shamanic journeying and storytelling to forest gong baths and nighttime astronomy lessons. We have been through a lot and these gatherings are about connecting back in with each other in meaningful ways!”

Co-founder of SoFFT Productions and festival creator Nastasha Duffy

To emphasise that this isn’t just a gig, and a mini day festival, the tickets are priced at €67 plus fees and are available from Tickets.ie
