St. Patrick’s Festival has announced its collaboration with Mother this year.
Cultúr Club happens at Festival Quarter in the National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks on Saturday 16th March 2024, Patrick’s Eve.
It features a night of “live music, queer performance and art in celebration of Irish LGBTQ+ club culture and the transformative power of the dancefloor.”
Lined up for the music programme that includes electronic, disco, trad, techno and more with headliner Saoirse announced for the main stage dance tent. Saoirse is the Irish-born DJ & producer, trUst label boss, and co-founder of Body Movement Festival.
Alongside Saoirse, there will be sets from returning electronic producer Elaine Mai with MayKay on vocals, along with Mother DJs Ruth Kavanagh, Ghostboy & Rocky T Delgado, DJs Kelly-Anne Byrne, Puzzy Wrangler, and more with “dancers, kinksters, and fabulous drag artists.”
There will be three stages and a 3500-capacity main stage dance tent, a drag cabaret circus tent & the outdoor arena in Clarke Square.
The Mother ‘Géilí Mór’, Queer céilí returns with PJ Kirby (co-host of the smash hit podcast, I’m Grand Mam), with help from RiverDrag & a live queer céilí band.
