The Sugar Club launch a month-long Dublin Music Film Festival: Films Of Note
The Sugar Club have made music movies a central part of their programming since Choice Cuts took over a couple of years ago. Now from July 4th to August 5th, the venue is offering a full programme of music films under the Films Of Note, Dublin Music Film Festival name.
The schedule includes live concert, documentaries, biopics with all genres explored. Expect Tropicalia, Mavis!, Searching For Sugarman, B Movie: Sound And Lust in West Berlin, Finding Fela, Janis: Little Girl Blue, Quadrophenia, Straight Outta Compton, Dig!, Stop Making Sense, A Hard Day’s Night, Purple Rain (and its Saharan remake).
