Tayto are celebrating 65 years of crisps with a charity gig featuring Soulé, Chasing Abbey, Walking On Cars & Marty Whelan

Friday June 14th in a Dublin institution in aid of the Simon Community.

Tayto are marking 65 years of providing the definitive crisps of Ireland by kicking off National Tayto Day on the 14th June this year and as part of the celebration, there will be a special gig in aid of the Dublin Simon Community taking place on that night at Copper Face Jack’s on Harcourt Street.

Performing, playing and appearing will be:

  • Soulé – Diffusion Lab’s electronic R&B soulful pop artist and a regular feature here at Nialler9.
  • Chasing Abbey – the Midlands urban pop collective responsible for radio hits ‘Talk To Me’   and their recent hip-hop-centred EP The Odyssey Project.
  • Radio DJ legend, Marty Whelan, will be on hand to MC the event and play some tunes, making sure to play some classics through the years.
  • Walking on Cars – the Dingle band have exceeded all expectations having sold out the 3Arena from humble beginnings. This band play stadiums so you won’t be seeing them in a space like this for a while.

It happens June 14th between 7pm and 10pm at Coppers. Tickets are €10 plus fee with all ticket proceeds going to Dublin Simon Community.

Win tickets?

Nialler9 has tickets to giveaway to the event, just email your full name to [email protected] before Friday at 9am to be in the draw for two tickets.
