The Choice Music Prize nominations are announced tomorrow: predictions

Choice
The annual Irish album of the year Meteor Choice Music Prize nominations will be announced tomorrow on Today FM after 3pm. Meteor and Today FM are also giving three acts €1,000 funding in January, February and March via a song competition if you’re into that. Bands can enter here. So, for a bit of future-gazing fun, here’s who I think will get the nod from the judges whoever they are revealed to be.

For the record, these are my favourite Irish albums of 2012 and the Readers’ poll results are here:

My guesses:
Adrian Crowley – I See Three Birds Flying
Delorentos – Little Sparks
Glen Hansard – Rhythm & Repose
Heathers – Kingdom
Mick Flannery – Red to Blue
Owensie – Citizens
The Cast Of Cheers – Family
Two Door Cinema Club – Beacon
Wallis Bird – Wallis Bird
Windings – I Am Not A Crow

Well?
The Choice live event takes place on March 7th in Vicar St.
