The 2nd installment of their BRAND NEW monthly LIVE music nights to showcase local bands and run by STC’s Live Sound, Lighting and Stage Management Class of 2012!

    This month’s band are:

    – JET SET RADIO

“We are Jet Set Radio, from Dublin, Ireland. We write and play the
music that we want to hear, never restricting ourselves to one style or
another. As individuals our musical tastes vary, as a band even more so,
so we hope that’s something that comes across in our own music.

Born from the ashes of other musical ventures, JSR is about trying new
things, constantly experimenting with the formulaic and never kicking
    the same jam twice. ”

    – JEMSON GREEN

Jemson Green are a Dublin 5-piece hard rock band who’s influences have
come together to form a style of music each member is proud of and proud
    to be a part of!!

    – ELK

“Elk are a four piece dance / prog band formed in early 2011 looking to
create a new and different sound. The band consists of two girls and
two guys hailing from Kildare, Dublin, Wexford and Meath. Brought
together by their love of music, all members met at Ballfermot College
of Further Educucation’s Contemporary Music course. Instantly the band
began writing original material and gigging on the Dublin scene. Working
hard to create an upbeat, dance-able and explosive set,. The band have
received great reception in such venues as The Village, Whelan’s,
Sweeney’s Mongrel, etc, as well as playing gigs around the country. The
band have recorded their first single ‘Warning Signs’, have been filmed
by Highwind Films, played festivals such as Knockanstockan and are
planning on recording their debut ep in early October. Keep your eyes
and ears peeled! These are exciting times for us.”
