Beavertown present Soundtrack Stories, with the Kinsale band Cardinals and producer/singer Chameleon on the bill. Hosted by Dublin comedians Meg Reilly and Ross McCarney, you’ll have the chance to share the opening line of a story from your own life. It might be a narrow escape, a chance encounter, a disastrous date, or something that seemed like a brilliant idea at the time. Meg and Ross will chat with selected storytellers throughout the night and, if they’re up for it, invite them to take the mic and tell the rest of the story.

A daytime, all-ages event celebrating cassette tape culture, with stripped-back sets from CABL, Goldbug, Hotgirl’s Ashley Abbedeen and Last Apollo. The show is recorded straight to tape, and 25 limited edition copies will be duplicated in the room. There is also a cassette tape fair, listening stations and a BLAB photo exhibition, and the BLAB004 line-up will be announced for November. Free entry.
