I completely lost interest in The Weeknd as the approaching Kiss Land moved into view like some sleazy sex fart. It definitely lacked the charm of the mixtapes that came before it. ‘Wanderlust’ broke the album’s mould by inserting (excuse me) some disco funky disco rhythms into proceedings.
Clever UK production duo Snakehips have used the song as material for a superb dancefloor rework. Lovely. Snakehips play their first headline show in London in May. Previously, hear their excellent own track ‘On & On’.
