Louth hip-hop duo TPM are back with a significantly different hat on as The Mary Wallopers. Their first EP, A Mouthful of The Mary Wallopers, is five tracks of Irish trad combining folk stompers with sean-nós moments. Check out the EP below.
The brothers have long been among our favourite Irish acts, with a standout performance at this year’s It Takes A Village.
While the material on A Mouthful Of The Mary Wallopers marks a near-total diversion away from the electro-punk of TPM, the absolute craic the Dundalk natives bring to the table remains omnipresent.
