A Tresor showcase is coming to Limerick’s newest alternative venue, the Belltable Theatre, later this year.

The legendary Berlin club has linked up with newly launched concept night Hardware and Irish label Circuit Structure Records to bring a taste of the iconic venue to the city on June 8th.

Tresor residents Kerrie and Mareena will be headlining the showcase, with Kerrie playing a live set while Hardware’s own Brawni and Chaz Moloney are both on support alongside Circuit Structure Record’s Offtrack, all busting out live sets.

Two shows are planned for the day, early and late, with Hardware founder Brawni explaining the showcase aims to provide the local scene with a means of expressing itself.

We want to explore new things. Music technology has advanced so much over the years and yet our club nights tend to remain in a very similar format.

Why not try new things with new tech and new approaches? Why not have a chill-out area for people to relax? Why not showcase local art? Why not improvise with this technology and see what happens? These things seem important to us and feel right.

They provide our scene with a new way of expressing itself and are an excuse for people interested in new things to gather together.

This is the second event run in the Belltable by Hardware, following on from a sold-out inaugural show last month, when four electronic artists combined their hardware to create a four-hour live improvised set that had revelers sweating.

Tresor is one of the most celebrated clubs in the world, bringing in some of dance music’s biggest names over the years since opening in the early ’90s and on its label, serving as a mainstay for techno music, so the second event is already shaping

The Tresor showcase will take place on June 8th at Limerick’s Belltable Theatre, with shows at 4pm and 6pm. Tickets cost €25 and can be found here.
