The Los Angeles-based American indie pop band are going large.
TV Girl have announced a Dublin show at 3Arena on Thursday 15th August this year.
Tickets on sale Thursday from €49.90 plus fees go on sale at 10am.
The band – Brad Petering, Jason Wyman, and Wyatt Harmon- have been knocking around for a while now, but this arena show will be their biggest Irish show to date.
“On the surface, TV Girl is a sunny, throwback splash of ‘60s French pop and southern California soul. Yet, under that shiny veneer lays a dark heart, beating with sharp wit and cynical alienation, and the music is all the more alluring for it. TV Girl, was formed in 2010 by Petering as an outlet to blend the love of Spector-esque girl-group pop with an emerging interest in hip-hop.
The band’s last album is 2023 Grapes Upon the Vine.
TV Girl have been a beneficiary of virality on Tik Tok and that has translated to 21 million plus monthly listeners on Spotify, despite having no label or manager.
